Aloha! My name is Jalen Gambee, from Kona, Hawaii
Trust me, I know what you’re thinking…
Another ‘fundraiser’, right?
I know you’re probably used to being asked to buy candy bars that aren’t really good for you…
Magazines or coupon books you’ll probably never use…
Letting us wash your car that you just washed last week…
Or buying tickets to spaghetti dinners that you’ll probably forget about… 
This is something VERY different (…and COOL!)
First of all, I’m the newest member of the traveling team for Ho’opa Hawaii U-12 volleyball out here on the Big Island of Hawaii.
This is my first year playing with this Club and it’s a lot of hard work, but it’s so much fun!
We have an amazing chance to compete in one of the biggest volleyball tournaments of the year, the Volleyball Festival in Phoenix, AZ, June 23rd – 28th, with over 600 teams from all over the world…
It would be an awesome experience for all of us!
Coach has been working us very hard to get us ready. I think it’s working because I fall asleep fast at night.
We’ve won our first 2 tournaments so far this year. We even beat a team that hadn’t lost in over 3 years!
In order for our team to be able to go compete…
We’re working hard to raise funds Our coaches are all volunteers, so we’re all working together as a team on this because we really want to go!
This is VERY different from any other fundraiser!
Instead of car washes and coupon books, we wanted to offer you something that would do more than just help you feel great about helping our team go to Arizona…
Our Gold Medals for winning our last Big Island Tournament!
We also wanted to offer something for your whole family to enjoy for the rest of your life.
