Scary Costumes – Scarier Economics

At a fundraiser in San Francisco a couple days ago, Obama has this to say about you and I and the rest of the country:

“We’ve lost our ambition, our — our imagination, and — and — our willingness to do the things that built the Golden Gate Bridge and Hoover Dam and unleashed all the potential in this country.”

Newsflash for you, Mr. President-

We haven’t lost our imagination.  We haven’t lost our ambition.  And we definitely haven’t lost our willingness to do the tough things.

No, Mr. President, you just attempted to stifle us.  Your liberal, socialistic policies have attempted to stifle us.  The OWS protesters and their “victim” mentality are trying to stifle us and lump us in with the dupes that think the world owes them a living.

Oh Yes We Did!

You say that we’ve lost what it takes to do things like build the Golden Gate Bridge or the Hoover Dam.

Guess what?  We built those during the Great Depression.

This, too!

You couldn’t build those today.  You couldn’t build those in 10 years.  Look at Ground Zero.  You couldn’t even get that done today.

Too many regulations and too much politically-correct nonsense to get it done.

Yes, we know, you “inherited” your mess.  We’ve heard you bitch about it a gazillion times.

But you know what?  Normally when people “inherit” a mess, they don’t make it 100x worse like you’ve managed to do.

And now, Mr. President, you’re getting so desperate, you’re blaming everyone but yourself.  You’re blaming the “rich guys”.  (You know, the ones you’ve been shmoozing with to raise all your re-election campaign money?) You’re blaming Arab Spring.  You’re blaming acts of God.

You're not fooling us anymore, Mr. President.

You’re blaming everyone but yourself and your Socialist policies.

You’re trying to scare us into giving you another 4 years to screw things up even more.

But it’s not going to work.  Not if I can help it.

See, Mr. President, you may have stifled us pretty good for the last 3 years, but more and more people are waking up every day.

We understand that you do NOT control our economy.  As entrepreneurs, WE control our own economy, and we’re waking up more people every single day.

You only have power over those who sit on their couches waiting for the government to bail them out.  (I know, right? Like that’s going to happen!)

Your gig is up.  Your teleprompter might as well be permanently stolen.

Enjoy your last year on the taxpayer’s dime.  In the meantime, entrepreneurs all over the country are going to continue to do what we do- wake people up and help them create their own economy out of the mess we’ve “inherited” from you.
